BARTOMEU’S BARCELONA BOARD ALLEGES 5,000 INVALID SIGNATURES’ IN VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE

President of FC Barcelona, Josep Maria bartomeu is fighting a battle of his life as he is doing everything to remain in charge of the La Liga club.

According to Spanish publication, Tribuna which quotes from another Spanish radio station, Cadena COPE, a few Barcelona executives believe that ‘there are about 5,000 invalid signatures’ in the vote of no confidence gathered last week, They alleged that most of the signatures were ‘bought’.

As a reminder, the figure of 16,500 signatures was needed to enter the next stage of the president’s impeachment; Barcelona confirmed receiving 20,687 signatures. All of them are yet to be verified by the club officials.
