Lionel Messi’s future continues to dominate transfer column inches – and now Juventus have reportedly entered the race for the Barcelona superstar
As the future of Argentine super star, Lionel Messi continues to dominate football generally and the transfer market in particular, Serie A side, Juventus are reportedly linking up with Messi to get him into their fold.
Even though Manchester City are believed to be the front runners as possible destination for the troubled Argentine super star, Juventus have come up and a possible combination with Ronaldo is expected to create easily the most potent club attack in the world.
Juventus have reportedly made contact with Lionel Messi in a bid to try and lure the Argentine to Turin and form a stunning strike partnership with great rival Ronaldo.
Messi and Ronaldo have battled for the coveted status as the world’s best footballer for more than a decade and had some titanic Clasico tussles during the Portuguese’s time at Real Madrid.
Ronaldo left Madrid to move to the Old Lady two summers ago, and the Italian champions and new boss Andrea Pirlo now want Messi to join him, as part a report in French newspaper, L’Equipe.
The report says the Bianconeri have made a ‘discreet approach’ to Messi’s father to sound out the possibility of a sensational switch.
