SUAREZ MAY TEAM UP WITH RONALDO AT JUVENTUS

Uruguayan striker, Luis Suarez, sacked by Barcelona’s new manager, Ronald Koeman, may be heading to Italy’s Serie A as Juventus are interested in him.

Should the deal sail through, it will mean that Suarez will be a striking partner to Cristiano Ronaldo, a feisty rival to Suarez’s friend, Lionel Messy.

According to a publication in Italy, Gianluca Di Marzio reported that Juventus are hoping to land Suarez on a free transfer.

However, the Uruguayan would first have to terminate his contract with Barcelona as it expires only next year.

The 33-year-old reportedly wants €25m from the club before he agrees to end his deal early.

Moving to Italy would be beneficial form a financial point of view as the taxes over there aren’t as high. Last season, Suarez scored 21 goals and made 12 assists in 36 matches for Barcelona.
