Although Victor Moses is not expected to play a major role in Friday’s Europa League final that pitchea his Inter Milan club against Spanish side, Sevilla, he will get himself into record books as being one of Nigerians to taste victory in the Europe’s second tier clubs competition.

Before him, Taribo West and Chidi Odiah are two former Super Eagles’ players who had tasted victory in the Europa League.

Taribo won with Inter Milan in 1998 while Odiah was in the victorious CSKA Moscow that won the cup in 2005.

If Inter Milan win in Cologne, it will also be a victory for Victor Moses who joined the club in the last international window.

In the main European clubs’ competition, the UEFA Champions League, three Nigerians have been in the victorious sides.
