CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: PSG IN LATE COME BACK FOR HISTORIC SEMI-FINAL TICKET

What a turnaround for Paris St-Germain! A stunning late comeback from PSG sees them through to the semi-finals for the first time in 25 years – on the 50th anniversary of their foundation – thanks to a turnaround that will go down in the history of the club.

Paris had been outworked and out-thought before those late goals, but they put their missed chances behind them and showed remarkable character to prevail.

Not a quality we often associate with this Paris team, but clearly they are made of sterner stuff this season.

Former Chelsea man, Mario Pasalic had put Atalanta in front in the 27th minute. The Italian side held tenaciously to the lead until less than two minutes to regulation time.

On the dot of 90 minutes, Marquinhos leveled for PSG. The Atalanta players had hardly recovered from the late shocker before Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scored the winner.
