‘FOUR-SOME’ ASISAT OSHOALA SCORES FOUR TO SILENCE FOUR CRITICS OF FOURTH CAF AWARD

Asisat Oshoala has celebrated her record-equalling fourth win of the CAF Awards as she banged in four goals even as four Nigerian betrayed her at the CAF Awards polls.

On the fourth day after her historic fourth win of her fourth CAF award, the Nigerian lady scored four goals in Saturday’s 6-0 win of her club, Barcelona Femini against Tacón.

The four goals are symbolic as they aligned with her fourth win of the Africa Woman Footballer of the Year in a poll, four of her compatriots denied her valuable points.

The Nigerian sensation and Africa’s best woman footballer made hays early in Saturday’s Femini La Liga as she opened the scoring for Barcelona Femini in the second minute.

Seventeen minutes later, she was on the score sheet again as she scored her second and Barcelona’s third with a low shot from the edge of the area.

Her third of the game was Barcelona’s fifth as she quickly got the ball and drove into the area before beating the goalkeeper.

She rounded up scoring in the 87th with a header which bounced off the goalkeeper.
