SUPER EAGLES TO GET NEW JERSEYS FOR WORLD CUP 2022 QUALIFIERS
Nigeria’s contribution to football fashion will again be on parade when the Super Eagles begin their 2020 World Cup qualifiers against yet to be determined opponents in March.
President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick revealed that new attire for the national team’s World Cup qualifying series will be unveiled in March 2020.
The next stage of the qualifier will commence on March 23, 2020. The draw will be conducted on January 21.
The existing attire of the Super Eagles, made by Nike, got global acclaim when they were unveiled on February 7, 2018. The globe went agog when sales opened in June 2018 in London.
Nike has since 2015 on a second stint as Nigeria’s kit supplier. In 2020, Nike will release new kits for all of their sponsored national teams – they will be used in the Euro 2020, 2020 Copa America as well as in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
