The level of performance of the Nigerian Olympic Eagles has been reflected in the selection of the tournament’s best eleven as no Nigerian player made the team.

Rather, it was Egypt all the way as the hosts not only won all the individual and team awards, they also dominated the selection of best eleven.

They had five of the eleven while the others are from Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana and South Africa.

The Egyptian coach, Shawky Gharib is also the chosen one.

Captain Ramadan Sobhy, scorer of the winning goal was adjudged the Total Man of the Competition, the award for the Most valuable Player of the tournament in addition to picking up the Total Man of the Match award for the final match.
