TS GALAXY DISPLAY SPORTSMANSHIP, EVEN IN DEFEAT TO ENYIMBA
Enyimba may have achieved an enviable double in their Confederation Cup playoff with South Africa’s TS Galaxy, it was more of a victory for African solidarity.
According to a tweet from Enyimba’s twitter handle, the chairman of TS Galaxy, Tim Sukazi, visited the locker room of Enyimba to congratulate the team.
The gesture becomes very significant considering the recent hostile approach of South Africans to foreign Africans.
Enyimba’s message read: “We might have won and qualified, but in the end, it was victory for African football
“Chairman of
@TSGALAXYFC came into our dressing room to celebrate the win with us.
Great show of show of sportsmanship,
CAF was tagged in the tweet by Enyimba who followed their earlier 2-0 home win with a 2-1 away victory.
