In the quest to regain his lost titles in the rematch with Andy Luiz Jr in Saudi Arabia on December 7, Anthony Joshua has recruited German heavyweight, Albon Pervizaj as his sparring partner.

According to UK’s news outlet, talkSPORT, Joshua is attempting to replicate Ruiz’s hand speed.

However, the 24-year old Pervizaj is believed to be one of the several sparring partners that Joshua will bring in as he prepares for the rematch with Ruiz.

In addition to the German, Joshua has also trained with American fighter, Timothy Moten.

The American is short and stocky and almost in the same frame like Ruiz.

Pervizaj has an impressive boxing record of 12 victories and no defeat so far. Nine of his victories are by knockout.
