NIGERIA’S FALCONS STAGNANT IN FIFA RANKING
Super Falcons of Nigeria remain in the 36th position as FIFA on Friday released the women’s World Ranking.
The Nigerian team, the lead in Africa, still had 1643 points, which it carried over from the previous ranking.
Elsewhere, Belgium, Chile and Fiji have all climbed to their highest-ever positions in the Women’s World Ranking, which continues to be led by the USA.
The Belgians are now 18th, gaining a step while the Chileans, who ranked after Nigeria gained a step to the 37th.
The Fijians moved four steps up to be 68th and are among the relatively few notable success stories to emerge from the latest edition.
