All the 15 members of the board of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) attended a meeting on Friday with the sports minister, Sunday Dare.
It is the first meeting the minster had with the entire board since assuming position last month.
Although the communiqué of the meeting was silent on the legal issues affecting key members of the federation, it however pointed out that the meeting came out with a resolution to take Nigerian football to a new height.
The nearest item to the lingering legal issues was the reaching out to all factions with the view of reaching amicable resolution as well as the improving of general perception of football administration on the country.
The meeting, it was gathered also resolved that there should be a commitment towards ensuring management of resources as well as deepening private investment in private sector investment in football development.
Among the topics pointed out is that of charting a new direction in the football governing body as well as repositioning the domestic league.
The communiqué also pointed out that both the ministry and the NFF resolved to work together towards early preparation for Nigerian teams in international competitions.
