Retired Brazilian footballer, Ronaldinho is set to come out of retirement at the age of 39 for Colombian side Independiente Santa Fe.
The legendary Brazilian hung up his boots four years ago after a short spell with Fluminense.
He also featured for Barcelona, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Flamengo over 17 years, with 97 caps for the Selecao.
And now Ronaldinho is set to pull on the shirt of the nine-time winners of the Colombian league.
The club has announced he will feature in a friendly on October 17 at the Estadio El Campin in Bogota, with the opposition to be decided.
he most expensive ticket for the match is priced at £30.
There is a stumbling block though, with Ronaldinho’s passport seized last year after failing to pay a fine for environmental damage.
Ronaldinho has been working for the Brazilian government as an ambassador for tourism.
“I hope to continue to speak positively about our country wherever I go, inviting people to come here. It makes me very proud,” he said this month.
