The expected report on Nigeria’s bid to host the U20 Women’s World Cup was not released as at close of official time in FIFA offices, even as the Organising Committee for FIFA Competitions met and deliberate on other events.
The committee, which has as a member, Nigeria’s Amaju Pinnick, met on Thursday chaired by Aleksander Čeferin.
According to information gathered by www.sportsvillagesquare.com from FIFA, the committee deliberated on draw procedure for the Club World Cup and confirmed that the Under 17 Women’s World Cup would hold next year in India.
The meeting confirmed the procedures for the Draw for the Olympic Football Tournaments Tokyo 2020 and discussed the updates on other competitions like the Under 17 World Cup in Brazil and the Beach Soccer World Cup in Paraguay holding later this year.
The Organising Committee meeting also approved the FIFA futsal international match calendar 2021 – 2024.
The committee was presented with a summary of the FIFA Women’s World Cup that took place last June and July in France.
