AFCON 2019: NIGERIAN BOY AMONG FIVE TOTAL BALL KIDS

A Nigerian simply identified as Jeremiah is among the five kids that have been selected for mentorship at the Africa Cup of Nations holding in Egypt.

According to CAF a similar program was unfolded in Gabon in 2017.  For this year’s edition, Total, the official sponsors of the championship, has selected five kids between the ages of 13 and 16 to fuel the realization of their biggest dreams: becoming “Total Ball Kids” for the final match of the tournament in Cairo.

The five will be unveiled on Wednesday, two days to the kickoff of the biggest edition of Africa Cup of Nations.

One of those to be unveiled is Jeremiah from Nigeria who has been training hard to become a great football player.

Also to be discovered is the story of Malak from Egypt, who is supported by her dad to live her football passion.

 Others include Rijaa, who is very proud that Madagascar qualified for the first time in their history; Fanta, who has been organizing football and dance battles with her friends in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire and Walid, a young Algerian for whom football means solidarity;
