Brazilian striker, Neymar seems unsettled since his controversial departure last year from FC Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germaine.
There have been speculations that he wanted a return to the Catalonia club. But these have always been denied.
Barcelona’s former left-back, Adriano has according to Tribuna, revealed that Neymar regrets leaving his former club. He stated further that ‘everyone who has played for Barcelona and left has regretted it.’
Continuing, Adriano said: “I spoke with Neymar three weeks ago. Everyone who has played for Barcelona and left has regretted it and I think, for him, even more so than most,” Adriano was quoted by Tribuna as saying in an interview with Cadena SER.
The former Barca left-back has also discussed the club’s current season. “They’re going for the treble” was Adriano’s verdict.
“My arrival at Barcelona was one of the most important moments in my career. I won a lot of trophies,” the Brazilian added when asked about his time at Camp Nou.
Adriano played for Barcelona in 2010-2016 and scored 17 goals in 189 matches in all competitions. By the way one of these goals was scored against Atletico Madrid and it was a true beauty.
Adriano and Neymar played for Barca together from 2013 until 2016. The left-back joined Besiktas after the season 2015/16 while the forward moved to PSG one year later.
