HENRY ONYEKURU DREAMS EXTENDING STAY IN GALATASARAY; CASTS DOUBT OVER EVERTON FUTURE

Nigeria’s Henry Onyekuru has cast doubt over his Everton future by admitting he would be happy to remain at Galatasaray.

Onyekuru has netted nine goals in 18 league appearances for the Turkish champions and will take part in their Europa League first knockout round clash against Benfica next week.

The Nigerian, 21, also impressed while at Anderlecht last season, scoring nine goals in 19 appearances before a serious knee injury ended his season prematurely. The layoff also cost him a place in his country’s World Cup squad.

Ronald Koeman moved to secure Onyekuru’s services from Belgian outfit Eupen in 2017 but work permit issues have resulted in consecutive loan spells for the talented youngster.
