WARRI WOLVES BEGIN PLAYERS’ SCREENING FOR NNL 2018/2019 SEASON

Warri Wolves Football Club will on Monday formally commence preparations for the 2018/2019Nigeria National League, NNL, with the screening of new players.

This is contained in a statement released by the media unit of the oil city-based side.

The statement says the screening exercise, which will take place at the Warri City Stadium, will last for four days, beginning from Monday 10 December 2018.

It adds that the talent-catching event will be done under the watchful eyes of the team’s newly appointed coaches, Tajudeen Lamidi and Kester Osagie-Ojo.

It further states that club’s new Chief Executive Officer, Etu Moses, and members of his management team are very determined to return the Seasiders to the NigeriaProfessional Football League, NPFL, at the end of the 2018/2019 NNL campaign,and as such, the screening will be based on merit.

The statement calls on all the club supporters and stakeholders to stand behind the team through thin and thick during incoming NNL season.

Meanwhile, the new management team of Warri Wolves have effected some changes at the media unit of the side.

Azuka Chiemeke, media officer of the team last season, is now the club’s Director of Communication and will supervise all media and video analysis exercise of the Seasiders in the new season. Jahrock Ujewe joins the unit as the Media Officer.

These changes are geared towards rebranding Warri Wolves ahead of the new NNL campaign in line with best global standard.

The 2018/2019 NNL season is expected to commence towards the end of next January.
