NIGERIA, 8 OTHERS IN 15 MORE FOR AFCON 2019 TO COMPLETE

With Nigeria’s qualification along that of Uganda, Mali and Morocco on Saturday, the number of teams already in for 2019 Africa Cup of Nations has risen to nine, including hosts, Cameroon.

 

With that, there are 15 more qualifiers expected. Nigeria became sixth qualifier on Saturday after a 1-1 draw with South Africa.

Uganda edged Cape Verde 1-0 in Kampala, Mali beat Gabon in Libreville and Morocco went through after rivals Malawi lost in the Comoros.
