42,000 AHLY FANS TO ATTEND CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL AGAINST ESPERANCE
The bowel of the 86,000-seater Borg El-Arab Stadium is expected to be full when Egyptian giants Al Ahly take on Tunisia’s Esperance on Friday in the first leg of the CAF Champions League Final.
According to Egyptian publication, Ahramonline, Ahly officials disclosed that
up to 42,000 of their supporters would be allowed to attend the African Champions League final.
The club said on their official website that they were given the green light by security officials to host 50,000 supporters, with 8,000 tickets allocated for the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Ahly said that they are still in talks with security officials to increase the number of fans to 60,000.
The eight-time African champions are eyeing their first Champions League title since 2013
