FIBA 2018 WOMEN’S WORLD CUP: NIGERIA LEADS FRANCE IN BATTLE FOR 5TH PLACE

Nigeria’s D’Tigress appear to put behind them, their loss to US in the quest for semi-final ticket in the FIBA Basketball. In the battle for the fifth place, they are leading France at the end of the first quarter. They lead France 20-18 at the end of first quarter.

The Nigeria vs. France match is the first of a four-match series lined-up for this Saturday. After the encounter, Canada and China take to the floor in yet another battle for the fifth place. The winners battle for fifth and sixth while the losers will play for the seventh and eighth position tomorrow ahead of the final match.

Later this afternoon, the two semi-final matches will hold.
