ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES BEGIN AT CARL ACADEMY AND FOOTBALL COLLEGE
The academic doors of activities will begin this Monday at the first Football College in the south-eastern part of Nigeria, Carl Academy and Football College Umuahia.
The academy, according to the Principal of the school, Elder Emeka Nwosu, will start with over 30 students spread over different classes. ” “We have students in JSS 1, JSS 2 and SS 1. Some of them are fee-paying students, while others are on the scholarship scheme of the academy.
“Our dream is to produce the best of players that will represent and win laurels for the country in the nearest future.
“We have provided a conducive avenues for the students to actualize their dreams” he said.
Carl Academy, which is located beside NTA Umuahia along Umuahia Port Harcourt Express Road, is established in a beautiful and secluded serene environment for serious academic work.
The school is a blend of sports and academics and offers a wide range of carefully taught subjects from junior secondary school.
