One of the two new members into the executive committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, (NFF), Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi literarily had a resounding home coming as he returned from Katsina, where he was sworn in as a member of the board.

Coasting home unchallenged, he replaced Otunba Sunday Dele-Ajayi as the South West representative. Dele-Ajayi went for a higher position, the 1st Vice President, which he did not get.
