NIGERIA WORLD CUP SHIRT GETS MORE ATTRACTION GLOBALLY

Super Eagles’ World Cup attire which attracted worldwide applause and recently shortlisted for Beazley Design award by London Design Museum, has been adopted by a Turkey football club as its home shirt.

The club, the Istanbul based lower division side, Piyalepaşasp, has adopted the Nigerian home shirt. It however opted for black shorts instead of the white that the Super Eagles wear.

The NFF president, Amaju Pinnick had earlier informed www.sportsvillagesquare.com that the NFF was making efforts to make Nike establish a factory in Nigeria to produce the jerseys as it will also provide employment for Nigerians. Nike has similar factory in Indonesia.
