AT LAST! D’TIGRESS ARRIVE NIGERIA ON THURSDAY

At last, the Nigerian women basketball team, D’Tigress, are expected in Lagos later this Thursday for the continuation of their preparation for the 2018 FIBA Women World Cup in Spain.
The team which left Atlanta on Wednesday will arrive aboard a Turkish Airline flight by 7:15pm.
The first batch of players who will be led by Coach Ujoh Alexander will comprise of Evelyn Akhator, Cecilia Okoye, Jasmine Nwapei, Dominic Wilson and Sarah Ogoke.
On Friday, the second batch which will be led by Coach Otis Hughley will touch down in Lagos at 7:15pm aboard the Turkish Airline flight.
This batch will be made up of Aisha Mohammed, Ezinne Kalu, Atonye Nyingifa, Elo Edeferioka, Imovbioh Sarah and Promise Amukamara.
The trio of Nkem Akaraiwe, Nkechi Akashili and Uju Ugoka will join the squad on Friday for their first training session holding at the Molade Okoya Thomas Indoor Sports Hall, Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere.
Team Captain, Adaora Elonu who currently got signed by WNBA side, Atlanta Dreams will join the team later.
