VIDEO: HOW ENYIMBA SECURED A WIN IN MALI

Nigeria’s Enyimba boosted their chances of advancing in the CAF Confederation Cup after securing a 0-1 away win over Djoliba  of Mali on Sunday night.

Farouk Mohammed’s late minute penalty handed the two-time African champions the maximum points in Bamako.

A loss would have ended Enyimba’s dream as they went into the game trailing behind

CARA Brazzaville of Congo and Williamsville AC of Cote d’Ivoire. The Sunday result moved Enyimba to the second position on the log behind Congo’s CARA. Both have the same number of points, nine, but CARA have the edge on goal difference.

All the four teams have a match each to determine which side move into the quarter finals.
