FRANCE 2018 U-20 FIFA WOMEN WORLD CUP SQUADS RELEASED

With just ten days to go before the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup France 2018 gets under way in the region of Brittany, FIFA has released the squad lists of the 16 teams featuring at the tournament.

In all, there are 336 players featuring in the tournament. The importance of the tournament is underlined by the fact that eight of the 10 candidates for The Best FIFA Women’s Player 2018 first made their marks at the U-20 World Cup.

France 2018 will be the ninth edition of the competition and the Super Falconets of Nigeria along with Brazil, Germany and the US have been the only teams to have been in all the editions.

Nigeria enjoys a high rating in the tournament having played in the 2010 final match and rating fourth in the all-time ranking that involves all the 33 countries to have ever qualified.
