VIDEO: LAST CHANCE TO VOTE FOR AHMED MUSA’S WORLD CUP GOAL

Voting ends this Monday for the selection of the best goal of Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Nigeria’s Ahmed Musa’s second goal against Iceland is one of the short listed 18 among the 169 goals scored at the global festival of football.

The other goal scorers contending with Ahmed Musa are those of Russia’s Denis Cheryshev in the opening match against Saudi Arabia;  Critiano Ronaldo’s third goal in the hat-trick performance against Spain; Portugal’s Nacho’s goal against Spain; Brazil’s Philippe Coutinho’s goal against Switzerland; Colombia’s Juan Quintero goal against Japan and Belgium’s Dries Mertens goal against Panama.

The other short-listed goals are those of Russia’s Artem Dzyba’s goal in the encounter with Egypt; Luka Modric’s against Argentina; Germany’s Toni Kroos against Sweden; England’s Jesse Lingard Goal against Panama; Lionel Messi’s strike against Nigeria and Belgium’s Adna Januzaj’s against   England as well as Argentina’s Angel di Maria’s goal against France.

The last sets of short-listed goals are those of France’s Benjamin Pavard Goal against Argentina; Belgium’s Nacer Chadli Goal against Japan and Denis Cheryshev Goal against Croatia. Russia’s Denis Cheryshev is a player that has two of his goals short listed.

In case of Nigeria’s Ahmed Musa, his goal was scored in the match he was capped 70th time for Nigeria. The voting which ends this Monday can be done on FIFA’s website:
