Minutes before the end of the hope-lifting win over Iceland on Friday in Volgograd, Nigeria’s skipper, Mikel Obi had a fall on his left wrist. The initial speculation was that it was a time wasting tactic.

It was about two minutes into the added time and Nigeria was leading 2-0. It turned out that the Nigerian skipper was actually injured.
