FEYENOORD WONDER KID, LATEEF OMIDIJI DAZZLES AT U-15 CAMP

Latest invitee to the Nigerian U-15 squad, Lateef Omidiji Jr. dazzled in the first training session he attended with the team. The US born Omidiji who plays for Feyenoord Youth Academy in the Netherlands and had been the top scorer for his side has taken his scoring instinct to the Nigerian camp where he netted two goals during training session.

He was a delight to watch at the training as the crowd cheered and cheered. Meanwhile,

Coach Usman Ilerika said he is in the process of trimming 29 players in camp to an 18-man squad as he intensify preparations for the Africa Youth Games in Algeria in August.

“So far it’s a stiff competition for shirts in the camp and the players are responding well.

“The Sports ministry has ensured that we get everything we need with decent accommodation (Niger Bridge Hotel) and good food”.
