FLYING EAGLES’ SCORING DEFENDER, OGBERAHWE, SURE OF DOUBLE AGAINST GUINEA BISSAU
BY CLARKSON OGO.
Ahead of Saturday’s CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Guinea Bissau, Flying Eagles’ left back, Ogberahwe Solomon has expressed confidence that the Nigeria will soar higher against Guinea Bissau.
The Delta State born defender popularly called ‘Sapele Marcelo’ is known as a scorer, even though he plays from the rear guard position. The player of El-Kanemi Warriors remarked that his team mates are not leaving anything to chances and that they plan to achieve a double over their opponents.
He is confident that the Flying Eagles will win the first leg away and wrap up the game the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
“Our coach, Paul Aigbogun has injected a winning mentality in every one of his players. Our target is to secure all three points there. And I am sure of that because all our players are in top form in their clubs and with collective effort God will give us victory “.
However, Emiko Oghomienor who happens to be the player’s manager told newsmen that Nigerians should give the players unalloyed support.
