AHMED MUSA HITS BRACE FOR CSKA MOSCOW

Super Eagles’ Ahmed Musa has regained his scoring form as he powered his Russian club, CSKA Moscow, to a 2-1 defeat of Kuban Krasnodar on Sunday as his club hunts for action in next season’s UEFA Champions League.

CSKA’s two goals were scored by the Nigerian striker who is expected feel at home playing for the Super Eagles in the World Cup holding in his Russian domain.

He powered his club to come from a goal down to win 2-1. His first goal was in the 73rd minute before he added a second five minutes from full time.

Musa went back to CSKA Moscow on loan in January after an unhappy 18 months spell in England with Leicester City and since his return he has impressed especially in the last three games, where he scored against UFA and followed it up with two assist against Amkar Perm.
