Former Super Eagles striker, Finidi George, whose assist of a pass led to Rashidi  Yekini scoring Nigeria’s first ever World Cup goal in 1994, has urge Coach Gernot Rohr to work hard on his team’s attacking force ahead of the FIFA World Cup in Russia.

The former Real Betis of Spain attacker who believes the Super Eagles attacking force is too weak for World Cup group rivals like Argentina, Iceland and Croatia remarked that the coach still had a lot of work to do in order to put the team in proper shape.

“The present Super Eagles team is ok by me. I hail the team for being the first African team to grab the FIFA World Cup ticket.

“A problem I think Rohr should work on is the attacking area. Our last friendly against Serbia has shown we are lagging behind.

“I still wonder how we can beat our Group D rivals without a strong point man who is capable of putting the opponent defender under pressure.

“The defence and the midfield is still very much ok by me. I believe the should will find solution to all problems before the tournament kicks off in Russia,” he stated
