Egypt-based Nigerian sensation, Oluwafemi Ajayi, popularly called Junior Ajayi has had his international debut postponed as he will not feature in Friday’s friendly match with Poland.

According to information from the media department of the Nigeria Football Federation, Junior Ajayi was unable to secure the Polish visa in Egypt where he stars for the fanatically supported Al Ahly.

He will therefore fly directly to London to await the arrival of his Super Eagles’ team mates in preparation for Tuesday’s encounter with Serbia.

The NFF also revealed that team skipper, Mikel John Obi is unlikely to make it to Wroclaw as he has been working hard at renewing his work permit in China, where he plays for Tianjin Teda.

Team Administrator Dayo Enebi Achor told thenff.com on Tuesday: “We all had been hoping that the renewal would come in good time for him to fly to Poland. As it is now, it is not likely that he would make the trip.”
