BADMINTON FEDERATION OF NIGERIA CAMPS 16 PLAYERS, 3 COACHES FOR ALGERIA CIRCUIT

Sixteen badminton players, male and female are currently in camp in preparation for an international circuit holding in Algeria next month. The series of tournaments will be the first set of international tournaments Nigeria will feature in this year.
The tournaments in view are the Algeria International Badminton Championship, Thomas and Uber Cup African Qualifiers and the All African Senior Individual Championship.
According to a media release from the Badminton Federation of Nigeria (BFN), top among the camped eight male players at the Golden Star Badminton Camp in Katsina is Clement Krobapor of the NSCDC.
The others are Anuoluwapo Opeyemi, Godwin Olufua, Enejoh Abah, Habeeb Bello, Usman Ayo Ishaq, Olawale Odunayo and Daniel Phillip.
Also, there are eight female players in camp. They are: Dorcas Adesokan, Deborah Ukeh, Zainab Momoh, Peace Orji, Tosin Atolagbe, Ruth Ebere, Amin Christopher and Omotola Felicia.
President BFN Francis Orbih told www.badmintonNigeria.org that three coaches have also been given the task of preparing the team. The coaches who will handle the players in the three-week camping are Maria Omonehin, George Haruna Shitta and Taju Sulaiman.
