Super Eagles and Arsenal forward, Alex Iwobi has partied himself into  trouble following reports in the UK tabloid, The Sun that the 21 year old attended a drug fueled party few hours before Arsenal’s 4-2 loss to Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup.

According to the newspaper’s reports, Iwobi was obviously a flop at the match. The Nigerian midfielder was videoed screaming and dancing at 2.37am on Saturday in Soho, Central London.

The report has it that a source said: “Maybe his partying had something to do with it. He shouldn’t be up that late.” Iwobi was filmed dancing at the wild bash where partygoers smoked cannabis and inhaled laughing gas.

“Supporters then blasted the midfielder’s performance in Arsenal’s 4-2 third-round defeat on Sunday”, reports The Sun.

The issue was a talking point at the press conference that Arsene Wenger addressed on Tuesday ahead of the Carabao Cup game against Chelsea.

”If that is true he will be fined. It’s impossible to go out 48 hours before the game. It’s unacceptable. I will have to see him,” Wenger explained. The coach however denied that the party incident took place the night before the 2-4 loss to Nottingham Forest.
”It was not the night before the game. It was 48 hours. But it’s not acceptable, I will speak to him about it
”When you read what is reported it’s like he has taken drugs, he is not involved in that at all.
”He was out a birthday party. I will decide what happens. If your neighbour takes drugs what can you do? You are responsible for your own actions, not your neighbours,” Wenger remarked.
