Lukaku Delivers Good Dividends on Man. U Investment

New comer, Romelu Lukaku has shown why Manchester United was right in splashing heavy transfer fee on him in the current transfer window. He helped Jose Mourinho’s boys earn a well deserved 2-0 win over their bitter city rivals, Manchester City in a pre-season clash in the US International Championship Cup on Thursday night.
The Belgian international of Congo origin was signed by Manchester United for a fee of £75million, a staggering fee that pundits felt may end up in the sewer like the under-performed Paul Pogba last season.
Lukaku is already stamping his authority in what looked like a swap of him with the departed Wayne Rooney who returned to Everton just as Lukaku was crossing to Manchester United. Earlier on Monday, he scored in a 2-1 win over Real Salt Lake in a friendly match.
On Thursday night, he shot himself into Manchester United followers’ prominence when with great precision in the 36th minute, he rounded up Manchester City’s newly signed on Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson Moraes, to put United ahead.
Two minutes later, Manchester City was disunited as Marcus Rashford doubled the lead for Manchester United.
