Video: Am Quicker Version of Kanu, Says Al Hassan

Nigeria midfielder, Alhassan Ibrahim, has revealed that Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo, is his role model.
The 20-year-old’s playing style has been compared to that of Nigeria’s legend, Nwankwo Kanu, but he feels he’s faster than the former Arsenal attacker.
“I know people are saying I play like Kanu, even when I was with the Golden Eaglets.
“Am young, I didn’t get to watch a lot of Kanu’s games at the top level, but I went to YouTube to watch some of his clips, how he played and why people are comparing me and him.
“I admire Kanu, he’s a very intelligent player but we are different. He’s slow but am fast. But Kanu is more intelligent and I try to learn from what he did.
“In the modern game, my role model is Cristiano Ronaldo. I just like how he works hard, his hunger to achieve.
“I admire him a lot and I always try to emulate some of his moves.”
Al Hassan, who made his Super Eagles debut against Togo last month has scored 11 goals for Akwa United in the NPFL this season
