Again, Ronaldo Miss Out in a FIFA Final Match

Oh! Poor Cristiano Ronaldo. His ambition of featuring in a FIFA national teams’ competition final match has been dashed! He has even opted out of the losers’ final match on Sunday to attend to the birth of his new babies.
He thus joined the rank of the likes of compatriot, Luiz Figo, Dutchman, Marco Van Basten and Liberia’s George Weah among World Footballers of the Year winners never to feature in a FIFA final match involving national teams.
But Ronaldo can take consolation in being in the Real Madrid side that won FIFA Club World Cup thrice consecutively.
