Injured Toe Keeps Moses Out of Super Eagles

Chelsea wing back, Victor Moses, whose name is not included among the 21 shortlisted players to face South Africa in next weekend’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier with South Africa, was excused on medical ground.

A camp source in the Paris camp of the Super Eagles informed Sports Village Square that Moses was dropped as he needs to have a surgery on a troublesome toe.

But Sports Village Square observed that Moses played in the FA Cup final for Chelsea last weekend for 60 minutes until he was given a red a card. He did not limp off the field.

“We hope to have him back in August for the World Cup qualifiers in the match with Cameroon”, the source informed.
