Nigerian midfielder, Uche Agbo, is leaving Granada CF the club he has been featuring for since 2014 where he had spent loan spell from Watford.
In an earlier chat with Sports Village Square, Agbo was not specific of his next move after Granada CF went down in the La Liga.
But Spanish publication, Granada Digital, monitored by Sports Village Square revealed that the Nigerian who tasted action in last Friday’s practice match with Corsica, is saying goodbye to the club like many other players are doing at the close of this season.
He is to report to Gino Pozzo, who is now the owner of Watford after his father, Giampaolo Pozzo handed the club to him.
But like Agbo informed Sports Village Square, the Spanish publication translated through Google Translation application, also informed that the Nigerian player does not know what his fate will be next season.
Agbo told Village Sports Square that his concern at the moment is the fate of the Super Eagles. “All I am dreaming of is to see my country qualify for next year’s FIFA World Cup and also the Africa Cup of Nations of 2019.
“I love Nigeria so well than my club side. Although my club has been relegated, but not withstanding I still have my country in mind than the present state of Granada. I can’t say anything for now about my future with the club. All I want is seeing my country grab a World Cup and AFCON ticket.
“Our warm up friendly matches are also important.
“The South African are not minnows. We were denied the 2015 ticket because we shared points with them in Uyo .I can vow they won’t go back with a point this time around, “Agbo boasted.
“The camp spirit is high. Players are all willing to play. Rohr has really done a nice job by inviting the best legs for the encounter and I see us winning all matches”, he remarked.
