As the second stanza of the Nigerian elite division league resumes on Sunday, relegation threatened Remo Stars are set to turn their fortunes around, so declared their coach, Fatai Osho.
He declared that the break has made his players to be on tactical retreat and would face the challenges of the league’s home stretch with determination and optimism.
Shortly after a trial match at the club’s home ground in Sagamu, Osho declared: “We are looking forward to the second stanza of the league with a lot of optimism. We believe we have a team that can compete and we are preparing so well with friendly matches.
“We played two outstanding games at the end of the first stanza. That extended our stay compared to other teams. We went on a short break and the players are back fully refreshed for the second stanza.”
The Sky Blue Stars will welcome Enyimba to the Gateway International Stadium on Sunday, for the Match Day 20 of the NPFL.
