The rock solid defender is an integral part of Coach Abdu Maikaba’s team, where he played 18 of the Akwa United’s 19 matches in the first stanza of the Nigeria Professional Football League.

Igudia said it was a great honour and a big privilege for him to have been part of the Super Sand Eagles team.

“Despite the fact that we were unable to qualify from our group, we had a wonderful tournament and we also learned from it.

“I am happy to be back with my team. I appreciate the management, coaches, my team mates and fans of Akwa United for all the support for me while I was away with the national team in Bahamas.
