Inter Milan which recently sacked its manager, Stefano Pioli, is luring Chelsea’s coach, Antonio Conte. British newspaper, Evening Times, reports that Inter Milan is prepared to pay Conte in excess of £250,000‑a-week to move back to Italy.

But Chelsea, waiting to be crowned the English Premiership League champions later this week are confident Conte will not leave.  The Italian still has two years remaining on his contract.

Chelsea is expected to sit down with the Conte in the summer and offer him an extension and a pay-rise as a reward for a superb debut season.

Conte is reportedly one of Inter Milan’s top targets to replace the sacked Pioli who did not last more than six months on the saddle.

Alternatively, the Serie A club is also eyeing Atletico Madrid manager, Diego Simeone.
