Ibrahim A. Musa has been asked to fill the vacuum left following the sudden disengagement of Kadiri Ikhana as the head coach of Kano Pillars. He will be assisted by Friday Christopher.
Ikhana vacated his position last week shortly after the club crumbled 0-3 to Enugu Rangers in a rescheduled league match.
The coach was absent at the match just as he did in the match before that of Enugu Rangers.
Musa is however occupying the position of coach in acting capacity pending to the appointment of substantive Technical Adviser for the club. That was the decision arrived at when the club held an emergency meeting.
The management also approved the appointment of junior Kano Pillars’ head coach, Usman Abdullah as acting chief coach.
The management then promoted the Chief Coach of feeder team to Kano Pillars, Ahmad Garba Yaro Yaro as head coach of juvenile side.
