Energy Firm, Aiteo, Boosts NFF With N2.5b

The partnership the Nigeria Football Federation signed with Aiteo Group comes into effect from May 1. The deal is valued at N500, 000 million annually and will be for five years in the first instance.
These sums up to N2.5billion. It is the first in-country sponsorship for Aiteo, a major player in the energy industry. The firm will be referred to as “Official Optimum Partner of the NFF.
The www.sportsvillagesquare.com gathered that the deal grants exclusive rights to Aiteo Group and will cover all local and foreign components of NFF for the Super Eagles.
The group will be responsible for the monthly salary of Super Eagles coaches and those of other NFF teams.
“Our social responsibility objectives are to encourage a positive impact through our activities”, remarked Ndiana-Abasi Mathew, Aiteo’s Senior Manager, Corporate Communications.
According to him, the deal is a long awaited injection of funds the NFF needed.
Aiteo Group is one of Africa’s fastest growing energy leaders.
