Sunshine Stars Unveil New Coach

As the decisive second stanza of the Nigerian premier league beckons, struggling Sunshine Stars have reached out to former Super Eagles’ duo of Augustine Eguavoen and Ike Shorunmu to steer the club out of relegation waters.

The club on Tuesday unveiled the two former players-turned coaches as the new technical helmsmen of the club. The announcement was made via the club’s twitter handle.

The 51-year old Eguavoen will be at head. He has in the past handled Insurance of Benin, Enyimba and Gombe United. He takes over from interim coach, interim coach, Kayode Olujohungbe.
