Impossibility is Nothing, says Amoo

Shooting Stars that are gradually swimming out of relegation waters will hope to further drift into the safety zone as they face FC IfeanyiUbah in their Nnewi fortress this Wednesday.

The Ibadan side are currently 13th, just three steps away from the relegation zone. Every point the club can muster is of great importance as the season prepares for the home stretch.

For the home side, FC IfeanyiUbah, the current eighth position does not put it in any vantage setting to think of going continental next season. Climbing further up is therefore desirable.

But both sides are hoping to take full advantage of the clash. Fatai Amoo, the Shooting Stars’ coach, is brimming with confidence and is very positive of achieving good results.

“It is true we have had some draws on the road but personally am not satisfied so we must start winning and to begin with our hosts (IfeanyiUbah) is not impossible, impossibility is nothing” Amoo remarked.

It is the last fixture in the first stanza and the gaffer believes his side should win this to send a strong signal to finish well at the end of the season.

This much he revealed during a chat with

“Every game is a final and this one is not an exception that is why we must give a fight to win”.

This declaration is against the backdrop of how important is the game for the two sides!
