Former Chelsea coach, Ray Wilkins has revealed Andrea Pirlo is a target for Blues manager, Antonio Conte.
Conte wants Pirlo to replace England bound Steve Holland on his coaching staff this summer, according Wilkins.
Pirlo, who is still playing for New York City at the age of 37, was pictured watching a session at Chelsea’s Cobham training base in December.
“I know for a fact he has been around Stamford Bridge on a number of occasions this year,” Wilkins told talkSPORT.
“He’s the one that Antonio Conte would like. He managed him at Juventus until he was 34. “He is the one he will want to come in (to replace Holland).'”
