Triple Header WGB/Lagos FA Cup Resumes

The WGB/Lagos FA Cup enters it Match Day 2 with triple header duels on Wednesday at the Agege Stadium. Beginning with early morning belt, Eko Young Boys will take on De Royal FC at 8am.
This is immediately followed with Gbagada FC taking on G Innovation FC at 10am. At 12 noon, Kakaki FC will face Potters FC.
The tournament kicked off on Monday with three matches. Dotun Coker, Chairman of the technical committee of the Lagos State FA stated the momentum of the championship is gradually building up.
“From the matches played so far, we can see and feel that this year’s edition is going to be highly exciting with the results recorded so far, adding that a lot of upsets is expected in this year’s edition”. He disclosed.
He revealed that with over 90 clubs registered for the championship the matches will come in thick and thin ahead of the finals on the 6th of May, 2017.
Mountain of Fire and Miracles football club are the defending champions.
